Alexandra (Sacha) Pompeu-Robinson receives ACM-W Scholarship Award for attendance at the 2011 congress on Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery (CARS) to be held in Berlin, Germany. Founded in 1985, CARS with its focus on research and development for computer-assisted systems and their applications in radiology and surgery has played a leading role in medical informatics for more than 25 years.  Alexandra will deliver a podium presentation of her paper entitled "Immobilization and Guidance for Breast Brachytherapy". In addition, her paper was invited to the International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery and, having been through a full review process, was accepted for publication.
