The Computing Research Association has announced its Undergraduate Research Awards for 2013: Mattea Welch was selected a Runner-Up for the Computing Research Association's Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award (Female). Eric Moult was selected Finalist in the Computing Research Association's Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award (Male).
The competition included students from universities across the U.S. and Canada. Winners , other runner-ups and finalists are mostly from Ivy League universities. Queen's was the only Canadian university recognized. Announcement of the awards will be posted on CRA's website (www.cra.org) later this week. In addition, the June 2013 issue of Computing Research News will include an article on the awards.
