Dr. Gabor Fichtinger was one of the main organizers of the 14th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention (MICCAI). He took on the distinguished roles of General Chair and Program Co-Chair with his usual flair and enthusiasm. Thanks to his leadership, MICCAI 2011, held in Toronto, was a huge success.
