The Perk Lab received a partnership development fund with Dr. Karol Miller (Intelligent Systems for Medicine Laboratory, University of Western Australia) under the Queen’s Visitors to Partner Institutions of the Matariki Network of Universities program.

The new collaboration will integrate the SlicerIGT image-guided surgery navigation platform (Perk Lab) and a novel soft tissue biomechanical deformation modeling method (UWA), with the goal of significantly advancing the field of computer-assisted neurosurgery.
