Yashar Madjidi, PhD student, in the PerkLab receives the Graduate Dean's Travel Grant for Doctoral Field Research. Yashar will conduct thesis research at the Austrian Center for Medical Innovation and Technologies (ACMIT) in Wiener Neustadt and the Medical University of Vienna. Yashar will be developing mechatronic and robotic assistance for gynecological needle placement interventions.
